26 AR conducts free medical camp at Moreh

Tpl, February 16 2019: Moreh Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) carried out social service in Moreh today while a free medical aid camp was also organised by the Battalion.

The Bn on receiving requests for conducting medical camp during its monthly interactive session with various women organisations of Moreh town, took this noble initiative, said a statement of IGAR.

Free medical advice and medication was provided to over 30 needy patients by the Chief Medical Officer assisted by team of doctors and nursing staff of Moreh Battalion.

The attendees were also enlightened about various health issues including life style diseases.

The Battalion assured the attendees that Assam Rifles would continue its work for safety and welfare of the people of Moreh.

The attendees also appreciated the gesture of the Assam Rifles and hoped that this would go a long way in further cementing the bond between the people of Moreh and the Security Forces.
