CCpur, January 15 2020: ADC Churachandpur have today named Nehru Marg as the best-decorated locality in the district during the just concluded festive season while Vengnuam New Lamka bagged the second place.

Muolvaiphei and Chiengkonpang shared the third spot.

A cash awards of Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 7,500 each were given to the four localities today by the ADC Chairman Paukhanlian at his office chamber.

Red Cross Road, DHQ Tuibong, Zenhang Lamka and Elim Veng also received Rs 5,000 each as consolation prizes.

The awards were given by the ADC .
