TKLI serves ultimatum to CM

Imphal, January 14 2013: In connection with the death of M Awungshi Nhanaogai, headmaster of Frontier High School in a road accident at North AOC area on December 18, 2012, Tangkhul Katamnao Long Imphal (TKLI) submitted an ultimatum to the Chief Minister giving 10 days' time to fulfill its demand.

In the ultimatum signed by its General Secretary Ninglum KS, TKLI demanded the state government to provide ex-gratia amounting to Rs.5 lakh with immediate effect and a suitable job to the nearest kin of the victim.

Furthermore, TKLI demanded to arrest the culprit and punish the IRB personal who were on duty at the Kangla Gate on that particular day for co-operating with the absconding VIP who hit the headmaster by a VIP vehicle (Scorpio White) .
