CRPF assists strife-hit villages in Jiribam

Jiribam, December 13 2024: 87 Bn CRPF led by commandant Tapan Kumar, with assistance of Jiribam DC, delivered 97 bags of rice to the strife-affected Bishnupriya, Hmar, and Bengali communities in B Huonveng and Bhuthangkhal villages under Borobekra sub-division of Jiribam district on Thursday.

These areas have been facingsignificant shortages of basic facilities due to the prevailing law and order situation in the state.

The CRPF's timely intervention helped ease the food shortage and addressed other basic needs of the local population, a CRPF statement said.
