Ukhrul, December 11 2017: An alleged rape victim and her mother, from Mawai Reishangphung, Kasom Khullen, Ukhrul, met with an accident at Yeshom village along Kasom Khullen road on December 9, on their way to attend the District Court of Ukhrul, which has been scheduled on December 13 .

The victim and her mother were badly injured and were admitted to Shija hospital, Langol, conveyed a press release issued by headman of Reisangphung village authority .

It may be recalled that the victim was allegedly raped by a miscreant on the evening on November 8, it stated and added that the victim was further threatened not to reveal the incident to anyone .

The victim was staying in the SDO quarter of Kasom Khullen when the incident occurred, the press release added.
