Imphal, July 11 2024: The Directorate of Health Services (Drug Control Administration), Government of Manipur, has notified all the Chemist/Druggist/Pharmacy/Medical Store operating in Manipur that some medical store/chemists are selling damaged medicine (damage by recent flood) which is against Rule 65(17) of the Drugs Act, 1940 and Rule 1945 .

"According to the Drugs Act & Rules, it is a serious offence and consequently all the offenders are hereby instructed to stop this malpractice for the welfare of the public", added a release issued by the Directorate.
