Arms trafficker arrested in CCpur ops

Imphal, February 11 2025: Manipur police on Tuesday arrested an arms trafficker with weapons during a search operation conducted at Kawnpui area under Churachandpur police station on February 9 .

A release issued by Manipur Police Control Room identified that the arrested gunrunner as Thangkholal Haokip (35).One Colt 7.65mm auto pistol with two magazines, a country-made 9mm pistol with magazine, 11 rounds of 7.65mm auto pistol, five rounds of 9mm pistol, one pistol holster, a two wheeler and mobile phone were seized from the arrested person, it added.
