Kakching, December 10 2021: To facilitate people-oriented works, Liwa-changning village of Chandel district appointed 11 villagers to hold different posts as per Monsang tradition and installation cum blessing ceremony for them was held Friday.

The new functionaries are K Korenshing, Th Lovejoy, Sh Beshani, Ng Ranjit, Kewal Khartu, W Elvis, Ts Andy, Ngoru Kenbor, Th Rajmoni, Ng Birenshing and Kh Kith.

Installation cum blessing service for the newly appointed functionaries was held at community hall of the village wherein village authority chief/chairman Kumar Khartu administered oath to the newly appointed functionaries while Liwachangning Baptist Church pastor Ts Morison administered the blessing prayer.
