MALA gears up for National workshop on publication standard

Imphal, August 09, 2013: Manipur Library Association (MALA) under the aegis of the Government of Manipur, Department of Art and Culture and in collaboration with NSS Cell Manipur University, State Central Library, Imphal and Manipur University Library is organising a National workshop on standardization of publication during August 11-12 at MU Library, Canchipur.

According to a press note of MALA, Library Day and World Youth Day would also be observed on August 12, and a monthlong campaign 'Know your library' a joint venture of MALA and NSS Cell, MU; 'Mission go green' an initiative of NSS Cell, MU for mass tree plantation; and 'Survey of libraries of Manipur' a project of MALA would also be launched.
