Kangpokpi, April 09 2019: The Kuki Inpi Manipur strongly denounced the allegation of NPP candidate Thangminlen that Rs 50 lakh was given to the Kuki Inpi Manipur by the BJP to support Benjamin Mate in the ensuing Lok Sabha election and demanded clarification from the NPP candidate.

The Kuki Inpi Manipur in its clarification signed by KIM president Khaimang Chongloi and secretary general Shokholun Mate clarified that the allegation of NPP candidate alleging KIM receiving Rs 50 lakh from the BJP to support Benjamin Mate is baseless and false but devious design to defame the Kuki Inpi Manipur.

It also stated that Kuki Inpi Manipur will not stoop so low, said KIM accusing NPP candidate Thangminlen Kipgen of defaming the Kuki Inpi Manipur.

It asked the NPP candidate to clarify the matter before KIM at the earliest.
