Imphal, November 08 2012: 35 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) organized a Health Awareness program on the occasion of ' National Cancer Awareness Day' at Sajik Tampak on 07 Nov 12.The aim of the Camp was to create awareness among local populace about Cancer and modalities to prevent it.

The Medical officer conducted an awareness lecture cum poster demonstration to bring out causes, life threatening effects and precaution against the deadly disease.

The 200 people of the area attended the programme.
