Women vendors of Thoubal Keithel have condoled the death of Sapam Robinhood during a condolence service held today, reports our correspondent.

They also extended solidarity to the bereaved family members.

Free medical camp
A free medical camp was organised by Andro police station, Tulihal Gram Panchayat, Tulihal Mayai Leikai Welfare Association and Public Hospital and Research Institute Hatta, Imphal at Tulihal Mayai Leikai today, reports our correspondent.

More than 350 flood-affected people of Andro AC were treated during the camp.

Medicines were also distributed.

Naga Chiefs' Association welcomes
Naga Chiefs' Association, Tengnoupal Block, Chandel has welcomed the Naga peace accord singed between the Central Government and NSCN(IM) on August 3.The statement also expressed hope that the peace accord will bring peace and development in the North east region.

Book released
The revised edition of 'The Regulation of Monsang Custom and Usages' was released today at Liwa Changning community hall, Chandel district.

The programme was jointly organised by the 2nd revised edition committee and Sirti Upa Ruh (SUR).

Joint Director of TRI, Z Solomon, OSD-RUSA Th Oliver and SUR president Ng Benithan attended the programme as the chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.

Writ petition
A writ petition filed by former Health Services Director Dr Th Suresh for repealing Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act 1958 from Manipur has been listed for hearing at Court No 9 of the Supreme Court on Monday.

The petitioner would be represented by Senior Advocate Jayant Bhushan.

Re-designated as Director
The State Government has re-designated Additional Director of Adult Education Department as the Director of the Department.

Joint Secretary (Adult Education) issued an order to this effect yesterday.
