Imphal, June 07, 2013: The Thadou Students' Association, General Headquarters vehemently condemned the press statement of Kuki Students Organisation-General Headquarters (KSO-GHQ) while terming it as unbecoming of a students' organisation which manifested their communal mindset, arising out of their inability to get coveted post of president of ATSUM.

Seimang Kipgen, VP of TSA, in a statement said that only Thadou speakers are at the helm of KSO and shouting as if representing all Kuki tribes.

The KSO (GHQ) sent Muan Tombing to contest and represent the Kuki to ATSUM with full blessing, it said while wondering why and how it has to retract from their stand.

TSA-GHQ also condemned the direct confrontation of KSO during the 38 hrs bandh which is against the interest of the Tribal as a whole.

It further appealed to all right thinking Tribal to support ATSUM demand as per Article No 371 of Indian constitution for responsible governance.
