Imphal, November 06 2012: The extended inaugural State Level Aquarium Exhibition cum Flower Show organised jointly by Manipur Science & Technology Council (Mastec) and Manipur Science Aquarium concluded today at the DM College premises of the Aquarium.

According to closing ceremony chief guest, Uttamchand Laishram, who is director, Department of Science and Technology, the aquarium exhibition cum flower show held from October 26 drew about 500 visitors on a daily basis.

Noting that the exhibition provided rare opportunity for many of the visitors to view ornamental and indigenous fish species from close quarters in protected environment, Uttamchand emphasised that such events should be organised on a regular and expansive basis.

DMC Commerce principal Ng Brajakumar Singh and Mastec Director Th surendranath Singh also attended the programme.
