Imphal, June 05 2022: The 26th death anniversary of renowned writer and dramatist GC Tongbra was observed at the JN Manipur Dance Academy auditorium, here on Sunday.

Former minister L Jayantakumar and Society Theatre Manipur president Kangabam Tomba attended the commemorative event as chief guest and president respectively while IMC Ward No.10 corporator Salam Tik-en and ward No 12 corporator Potsangbam Premila were present as guests of honour.

Theatre critic Budha Chingtham spoke on the life and works of GC Tongbra on the occasion.

Participants also offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late writer.
