AR's two month prog concludes

Churachandpur, October 04 2019:
Sajik Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under aegis of IGAR (South), concluded a two month programme on Beauty Therapist and Parlour assistant for border villagers of Churachandpur district.
The training was conducted for 15 trainees from August 1 to October 3 as a Border Area Development Project, said a press release issued by PRO, IGAR.
The course was conducted in partnership with JCRE Skills Solution, Imphal, which is a registered vocational training provider under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDF), GoI and National Skill Development or corporation certified training partner in Manipur.
The training covered theoretical and practical sessions which were covered through classes on domain subjects, industrial visits, computer classes, communication and soft skills.
During the culmination programme, the trainees were given certificates duly recognizing their hard work and skill levels achieved.
During the interaction after the ceremony, the trainees expressed their gratitude towards Assam Rifles for for providing them an opportunity to acquire skills for employment which can further be developed into a means of generating a livelihood.
