Imphal, February 02 2016: The Committee on Protection of Tribal Rights (CoPoTR) has pointed out that most of the district level officers/ heads of Depts of Chandel dis- trict stopped attending their respective offices just as the DC left for New Delhi on Feb 1.In a statement, CoPoTR said that the pay/salary of the officers con- cerned who did not attend office should be deducted accordingly and the attendance registers should not be manipulated.

Ac- cording to CoPoTR, the DPO, DSO/SWO, Executives of PWD, Sericulture dept, NIC of- fice, Agriculture, Horticulture, DRDA and TD have stopped at- tending offices since the DC took a five-day leave from Feb 1 .
