Imphal, June 01 2022: Loktak and Sehlon Battalions of IGAR (S) conducted medical camps at Bishnupur and Chandel districts on Tuesday to provide basic medical check-up and distribute essential medicines to local populace including children.

As part of medical camp, information on various aspects were provided that included hygiene, sanitation, COVID-19, lifestyle diseases, etc., by medical officer of Assam Rifles, informed PRO IAGR (S) in a release, adding that a total of 250 locals benefited from the camps.

Meanwhile, Sehlon Battalion of IGAR (S) provided life-saving medical assistance to one Hollal Khongsai, who was driving a two-wheeler and met with a road accident near Phoilen village in Chandel district on May 29 .
