Jiribam (Imphal East), October 31 2015 : A 3-day programme on identification of persons with disabilities has started today at the Institute of Child Disabilities (ICD), Lakhipur, Jiribam, reports our correspondent.

The programme has been organised by the National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped (NIMH), Secunderabad in collaboration with the Achievement of Rising Maiden (ARM) and the State Commissioner (Disabilities) under the aegis of Department of Empowerment of Person with Disabilities and the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

More than 100 Anganwadi workers of Jiribam Sub- Division took attended the first day of the programme.
