Bishnupur, March 31 2017: 45 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) undertook a project of installing a 5 KWP Solar Power Plant for the children of Tabitha Children Home at Ramphei Valley under Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme.

The orphanage is home for HIV positive children.

Taking note of the difficulties faced by the staff and children during frequent power cuts, 45 Assam Rifles undertook a project of installing a 5 KWP Solar Plant which would provide uninterrupted power in times of power cuts to the orphanage.

The children and staff of the orphanage thanked the unit for this noble gesture.
