Imphal, December 31 2021: Endorsing the government's order issued on December 29 for enforcing stricter preventive measures in view of detection of Omicron case in the state, Khoupum Area Villages Authority Council (KAVAC) has appealed to public to avoid visiting Khoupum sub-division without prior permission.

In a release, KAVAC stated that people should abstain from public gathering including religious and political gathering, wedding and festive programmes.

Wearing of face mask in public places and crowded areas is an essential Covid appropriate behaviour and will be strictly enforced, it added.
