Ukhrul, December 31 2012: In the post-condolence violence on Sunday, the official residence of Ukhrul Deputy Commissioner at Tangrei also came under attack with unidentified miscreants hurling petrol bombs around the time when a government vehicle was set ablaze by mob.

On Sunday night at around 7.30pm, unidentified miscreants hurled Molotov Cocktails (bottles filled with petrol and stuffed with shreds of sack) from two directions at DC's official residence at Tangrei and located close to Ukhrul police station.
