Imphal, October 30 2012: A one-day district level training programme on Rabi crops cultivation was held at the residence of Ak Sanajaoba at Charangpat Maning Leikai.

The programme was organised by District Horticulture and Soil Conservation Thoubal under HMNE 2012-13 .

The training programme was attended by District officer of SHSC, Thoubal, Lisham Upendra and Pradhan of Charangpat GP, L Anita Devi as the chief guest and president respectively.

Around 50 trainees have participated in the training programme where various seeds and vermicompose beds were distributed to them free of cost.

Meanwhile, a meeting was also held at Narsingh Mandir, Kakching under the aegis of Ethei Committee.

The meeting was presided by Ethei Committee chairman, MLA Y Surchandra.

American pea were distributed to around 600 farmers at the occasion.
