Imphal, July 30 2018: Chief Minister N Biren through his counsel has served a legal notice on the Editor-in-chief and Managing Editor of Authentic Press Network for tweeting, "Chief Minister of Manipur Nongthombam Biren Singh who was a true Congress worker is planning to go back immediately after announcement of the Lok Sabha elections" .

The tweet appeared on July 27 .
