CJM IW remands mother for allegedly selling her son

Imphal, December 29 2021: Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West has remanded Yendrembam Ongbi Rita (29) to judicial custody till January 12 in connection to allege sell of her own infant son.

The accused Yendrembam ongbi Rita, w/o Yendrembam Deepak of Malom Tuliyaima Hawairou was arrested in connection with the case yesterday.

As per report, the accused revealed that she had sold her infant son in collusion with her husband Y Deepak, Sarangthem Ongbi Shandhyarani and nurse Thoudam Mona on December 1 .

She also disclosed that she had sold her second daughter last year for Rs 55,000/- .
