RTPJZ demands removal of 8 MR at Makru

Jiribam, March 29 2012: The Rongmei Tannpui Phuam Jiri Zone (RTPJZ Rongmei Women's Organisation Jiri Zone) has demanded the immediate withdrawal of 8 MR from Makru for imposing illegal taxes upon the vehicles plying on NH 37 .

President of RTPJZ G Martha rued that the jawans of 8 MR posted at Makru are not less than dacoits who have been terrorizing the commuters on NH 37 and the vehicles by excessive collection of unjustified taxes in recent days.

She also urged the authority concerned to do the needful in this regard or else intense agitation would be launched soon with the like minded other civil society organisation.
