Imphal, January 29 2015 : 41 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector AR under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (S) retrieved a Bolero jeep, which had slided off Ukhrul-Jessami road yesterday.

The unit received a call from one VS Vareiyo informing that his personal vehicle bearing registration number MN 04A 7157 had slided off the main road due to sudden brake failure.

A team of the unit along with the recovery vehicle was pressed into action and the arduous task of retrieving the vehicle carried out, said a press release issued by PRO Hqs IGAR (S) .
