Imphal, August 27 2020:
The Non-Teaching Employees' Welfare Association, RIMS has condemned the Director of the institution for alleged forceful removal of its members, who were waiting to meet Chief Minister N Biren Singh, from Jubilee Hall yesterday.
In a statement today, the association claimed that the members were waiting to submit their grievances to the Chief Minister during his visit to review the arrangement in place for treatment of COVID-19 and non-COVID patients at the hospital yesterday.
But, the RIMS Director "forcibly removed" the members using "armed forces" from the venue, alleged the association condemning the action of the Director.
