Counselling on army recruitment held

Imphal, August 26 2015: 12 Bihar Battalion of 9 Sector AR under the aegis HQ IGAR (South) conducted a "Counselling on Army Recruitment" for youth of Manipur at Community Hall, Mayang Imphal on Aug 25 .

The effort was a part on drive initiated by the Army to engage the youth of the remote regions to a better career in the Armed Forces.

A lecture was organised wherein the unemployed youth were motivated, imparted guidance and directions so that in future they may grab the opportunity to join the Indian Army and may lead a responsible life in the society, according to a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S).

The event evoked a massive response in which 100 aspirant youths of the nearby villages participated.

Mock rehearsal on medical examination was conducted for the participants by Dr Opendro of Wangoi, PHC.
