Imphal, April 26 2015 : A translated text of RK Narayan's novel, The Vendor of Sweets, was released at Dave Literature Center, DM campus today in the presence of Professor Naorem Khagendra Singh, Professor Thounaojam Ratankumar Singh and Professor Huirem Behari Singh.

The Manipuri version of the novel is titled Ahao Athum Yonba Nupa.

A book describing the scenic beauty of the land titled Manipur : Land of Blue and Green Mountains was also released during the release function organised by Kamala Publishers Limited, Imphal.
