Imphal, March 26 2012: Manipur AIDS Control Society (MACS) organised a sensitisation programme on HIV/AIDS for working journalists at its conference hall today.

Representatives from State newspapers, DDK Imphal, AIR Imphal and ISTV News took part in the programme.

Providing media fellowship and instituting award for journalists working in the field HIV/AIDS were mooted in the programme.

Talkers of the programme also urged the journalists and media fraternity to use mild vocabularies while filing news and writing articles.
