AR saves snake bite victim

Imphal, July 25 2018: Immediate medical assistance provided by Assam Rifles Medical Officer of Somsai Battalion saved the life of one Marina of Phatang village, Ukhrul district who had suffered a severe snake bite on July 24 and reported to unit hospital.

Timely administration of anti venom and life saving drugs by the officer allowed the victim to be evacuated in a stable condition.
