Imphal, June 25 2012: A one-day Fish Farmer's Meet for the beneficiary of Ngayok Marups of Imphal west District was held today at the Fishery Union Hall, Lamphel.

Y Jugindro Singh, IAS Commisioner (Fishery) and secretaries of the beneficiary Ngayok Marups (Fish Farmers' SHG), which is under the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) of Hyderabad, chaired the meet.

Implemented schemes of the NFDB in the State were discussed, further photographic representation of their achievements were submitted, said a statement.

Y Jogindro emphasized on the need for production of more fishes by the fish farmers for their benefit and the benefit of the State.
