Natl Integration tour flagged off

Imphal, October 24 2019: Indian Army flagged off a National Integration Tour for children and teachers of Khoupum Valley yesterday.

The tour will continue till November 1, said PIB (DW) .

The students and teachers will visit Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.

A total of eight girls, six boys and two teachers from various schools of the picturesque remote area of Khoupum Valley were selected for the tour.

The tour aims to provide an insight to the children on the diversity of India.

They will visit premier institutions and witness the strides made by India in the fields of economy, entertainment and infrastructure.

The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for their efforts towards providing platform for their children to excel in future.
