Imphal, March 24 2018: Ching Tam Yokhat Museum and Research Centre was inaugurated at Sagolband Tera Khuraijam Leirak today.

Speaking as the chief guest atthe event, Deputy Chairman of State Planning Board and Chairman of Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation Ltd, S Rajen Singh stressed on the importance of preserving one's culture and traditions.

He informed that the items displayed in the museum cannot be bought with money adding that these items will be very beneficial to the future generations, including the students.

Ex MLA, S Kunjakeshore Singh, Up-Adhyaksha Imphal West, Ngashepam Bimola and former Maichou Purel, Sanakonung, Professor Ng Kangjiya Mangang also graced the event as the guests of honour and president respectively.
