Imphal, November 22 2012: The Naga Students' Union Chandel (NSUC) has urged the Education Minister not to effect mid-term transfer of incumbent Principal, DIET Chandel.

In a memorandum to the Education Minister, NSUC said the incumbent DIET Principal of Chandel is qualified while warning that any attempt to replace him by 'tainted' officer would never be accepted by the students' body and the public.

It then urged the Minister to intervene so that the incumbent principal occupies his office in the interest of the public.
