In pursuance of Govt letter of the Secretariat, MAHUD Department, a special meeting for consideration of the No-confidence motion against Md Sah Alam, Chairperson of Lilong (Tbl) Nagar Panchayat was held at the office chamber of the Sub-Divisional Officer/Lilong today.
A press release issued by Md Ajijur Rahaman, Executive Officer Lilong (Th) Nagar Panchayat stated that the said motion of no-confidence was considered by seven Councillors and passed by seven votes, and decided to remove Md Alam from the Chairpersonship of the said Panchayat with immediate effect.
