Imphal, May 21 2012: A bailey bridge near Sekmaijin Bazar under Wabagai AC was handed over to the public for use yesterday after it was repaired by the PWD at the initiative of local MLA Md Fajur Rahim.

The bridge had remained idle until the new MLA took an initiative to repair for convenience of public transportation.

The handing over ceremony was attended by officials of PWD and Wabagai Block Congress Committee president, Md Rahimuddin.

The MLA has urged the concerned authority to replace the bailey with RCC.
