Imphal, July 20 2022: Shangshak Battalion of IGAR (S) on extended life-saving medical assistance to a woman of Ringhui village in Ukhrul district who had a road accident.

According to PRO IGAR (S), a 37-year old Green Rose was hit by a speeding vehicle on Wednesday and suffered injuries in left hand and left leg.

The lady was rushed by villagers to Assam Rifles Medical hospital at Shangshak where she was rendered life-saving medical care to stabilise her condition.

Later, the lady was referred to civil hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, Khoupum Battalion of IGAR (S) extended medical assistance to a 59-year old woman of Irengbam village in Bishnupur district who was bitten by a snake on Wednesday.

The family members rushed the woman to Assam Rifles Medical Aid Post at N Khunou, Bishnupur where she was rendered medical care to stabilise her condition.

The woman was counselled and referred to RIMS Hospital for further evaluation and monitoring.
