UN appealed

Imphal, November 18 2015: The Assam Sanmilita Mahasangha has appealed to UN General Secretary Ban-Ki-moon not to grant a permanent membership to India unless the draconian Armed Forces Special Powers Act is repealed from the North East States.

With regard to the appeal, the Assam Sanmilita Mahasangha has submitted a memorandum to the UN General Secretary through the Director of UN Information Centre at New Delhi on Nov 4 .
