Imphal, December 17 2013: The All Manipur Buddhists' Association has laid the foundation stone for construction of a Buddhist monastery today at Kyamgei Maning Leikai.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by Works and Transport Minister, Dr Kh Ratankumar Singh; MLA K Thamarjit Singh and Dr O Kumar Singh as the chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively while Prof MS Ningomba was the special invitee.
