College principal faces bomb threat

Imphal, July 17 2024: Unidentified persons placed a hand grenade at the residence of Kamakhya Pemton (KP) College, Hiyangthang principal on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the unidentified persons placed the grenade at the gate of College principal Wahengbam Nimai of Lairenjam Awang Leikai around 5.10pm Wednesday.

On receiving news, a team of Nambol PS arrived at the scene and safely retrieved the explosive.

The PS has also registered a case in this regard.
