Imphal, October 16 2012: Appreciating the initiatives taken by state police in tracking down the murderer of Kh Catherine namely JV Wangtrit Lamkang (20) of Lamkang Khunyai, Women Action for Development lauded the state police and urged for quick charge sheet and prosecution of the culprit as well as for solving other similar pending cases of crime against women.

The women's body has also appreciated the role of media in highlighting the issue.
