Imphal, July 13 2018: Reacting to a news report published under the heading "MUSU now takes names: RSS, BJP", RSS Manipur has clarified that it is purely a social organization which does not have any role in Government functioning.

The news report said that RSS has no regard for the people of Manipur and it is trying to shield MU VC Prof Adya Prasad Pandey by sacrificing career of students.

A press release issued by RSS Manipur Prant Sah Karyawah clarified that RSS gives highest regard to the people of Manipur and it has been working for the betterment of the people of Manipur for the last many years.
