Book 'Ima Ngaikhini' released

Imphal, February 12 2022: Ima Ngaikhini', a book written by Netrajit Tongbram was released by Progressive Writers' Forum, Manipur president Salam Tomba as chief guest during a function held at Manipur Hindi Parishad Hall, old Assembly Road on Saturday.

DM College of Arts Associate Professor Saratchandra Longjam attended the function as guest of honour, while Palem Panthou Cultural Trust secretary Dr Salam Shantibala shared his thoughts on the book.

Ima Ngaikhini' is Netrajit s third book and it is based on the life of a widow struggling to raise her kids after her hut set up on the floating biomass of Loktak Lake was destroyed in a fire incident.
