Imphal, December 11 2024: Congress delegation from Manipur led by former Chief Minister Okram Ibobi called on newly elected MP from Kerala's Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi at New Delhi yesterday.

A press release issued by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) said that the meeting held at the official residence of Sonia Gandhi (chairperson of Congress Parliamentary Party) discussed the crisis in Manipur.

The delegation sought assistance from Priyanka Gandhi to restore normalcy in the State, it added.

The delegation who met the Wayanad MP also included MPCC president K Meghachandra, MLAs K Ranjit and Th Lokeshwar among others.
