Awareness programme on Sericulture held at Wangbal, Tbl

Thoubal, September 11 2019: A one day awareness programme on Sericulture, organized by District Sericulture, Thoubal District, was held today at GST, Wangbal, Thoubal, said a press release issued by District Sericulture Officer Thoubal.

The programme was attended by Director of Sericulture, GoM S Kunjakeshore Singh, Scientist-D, RSRS Dr L Somen Singh, Deputy Director Ch Harendrakumar Singh, District Sericulture Officer on Sericulture RK Biswajit Singh.

A technical session was also held with the presentation of papers on the topic 'Silkworm rearing and Mulbery plantation'.

More than 150 farmers attended the awareness programme today.
