Thoubal, March 11 2015: Khongjom Primary Health Centre (PHC), after its inauguration on February 7, recorded its first two successful child delivery cases today, our correspondent reports.

District Health Society, Thoubal officers along with District Family Welfare officer Dr N Jayantakumar visited the PHC today.

DPM H Rishikesh Sharma, during the visit, assured all possible help to the new borns and their mothers.

Khongjom PHC MO-in-charge Dr M Gambhir, appealed to expecting mothers under the jurisdiction of the PHC to admit themselves at the PHC at the earliest.
