Bishnupur, April 09 2022: With an aim to prevent flooding of residential and farming areas during monsoon season that may cause huge losses, Nambol MLA Thounaojam Basantakumar inspected Nambol River and initiated repairing of the unsafe portion of the river bank using heavy machines on Saturday.

Accompanied by Water Resources Department engineer, the MLA inspected Nambol River and Kanna Khong Maril in Naorem Leikai area.

The MLA assured of inspecting every nook and corner of the constituency and taking up repair/construction works by discussing with the people.
