Thoubal, April 08 2013: The 4th Annual Assembly of the Methodist Mission Church in North East India concluded yesterday at Molnoi Area Methodist Centre Church in Chandel District.

The Assembly which began from April 6 under the theme "Commit your way to the Lord," was participated by delegates from 33 Churches of Methodist Mission Church in North East India.

On the concluding day of the Assembly, a merger agreement, merger of the Methodist Mission Church in North East India (MMC NEI) into Methodist Church of India (MCI), was signed by Rev S Vaiphei, General Secretary MMC NEI and Rev MA Daniel, General Secretary MCI.

Bishop (Dr) Phillip S Masih, Bengal Regional Conference hoisted MCI flag to mark the historic day of the Merger which was witnessed by Church leaders, village chiefs and central team of Methodist Church of India.
